xrdb merge ~/.Xresources
Add the xrdb merge command to your WM's autostart.
Requires a compositor (xcompmgr, picom, etc.) for transparency.

This build reads settings from ~/.Xdefaults or ~/.Xresources. Changes reload live with:
xrdb merge ~/.Xresources && kill -USR1 $(pidof st)
